DJMoreMuzic - Ife Re (ur luv)

DJMoreMuzic, in conjunction with PresRock Entertainment, his home label, has just released a new single titled “Ife Re“.

“Ife Re”, which is a Yoruba phrase for “Your Love” was delivered in Yoruba and English languages. It is also a short rendition, and you won’t need to strain your ears to pick the sampled percussion/beat on the background. It is a slow song with melody, but not enough to hide the vocal weakness and diction of the performer.

Apparently, the DJMoreMuzic has been building anticipation ahead of the release of this song, especially on social media, and it’s ok for a DJ, who is not particularly a vocalist. The ladies might like it, especially the singer’s artiste.

Taiwan Seeks Improved Business Relationship With Nigeria

The Taiwanese Trade Mission in Nigeria has called for effective collaboration with the Nigerian Government to avoid double taxation on Taiwanese investments in Nigeria.
This is contained in Mission’s bulletin made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday.
It stated that the collaboration would also ensure protection of Taiwanese investments in Nigeria and boost bilateral economic ties.
According to the Mission, Taiwan has signed investment protection agreement with 29 countries including the U.S., Argentina, Panama, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Gambia.
“Taiwan has also signed agreements on the avoidance of double taxation with 20 countries including the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Singapore and Vietnam.
It stated that the Taiwanese investment in Nigeria was estimated at about 91.3 dollars million in more than 20 companies, which employed 2,000 Nigerians.
The Mission said that Taiwan’s foreign reserves rose to 418.174 billion dollars at the end of March 2015, an increase of more than three billion dollars in February.
“Taiwan’s edge in innovation and development in high technological electronics, machineries, petro-chemical industries, highly value added agriculture, should offset the disadvantage the primary industries in Nigeria are suffering.
“Nigerian conglomerates like Dangote Group, D-Link Nigeria and other high tech companies in Nigeria are currently benefiting from cooperative ventures with Taiwanese world renowned industries.
“Taiwan willingly shares its industrial know how with interested friendly countries and their entrepreneurs including Nigeria,’’ the mission said in the newsletter.
The Mission, however, called for a sustainable political will, among authorities of the two countries to boost environment conducive for businesses to thrive.
The Taiwan Trade Mission is saddled with the responsibility of promoting economic and trade relations between Nigeria and Taiwan. (NAN)

Nigeria's EFCC arrests top bankers over 'mega scam'

Nigeria's anti-corruption agency has arrested six senior central bank officials over an alleged $33m (£21m) currency fraud.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) also held 16 private bank workers for the "mega scam".
The suspects stole "tonnes of defaced naira notes", which were meant to be destroyed, it said on its website.
Newly-installed Nigerian President Muhammudu Buhari has pledged to make tackling corruption a priority.
The arrests were made last week, before the president's official swearing-in ceremony, and so should not be seen as part of Mr Buhari's promised clampdown on corruption, reports the BBC's Will Ross from Lagos.
The move is more likely to be a show of strength from the EFCC, in an attempt to prove its relevance, our correspondent adds.
The Central Bank says it uncovered the problem during an internal audit and handed over the staff to the EFCC.
The suspects allegedly filled boxes supposed to contain damaged currency with bits of newspaper cut into the shape of naira notes, before sending them to branches of the Central Bank of Nigeria for destruction, according to the EFCC.
The actual banknotes were held back so that they could be reused, it adds.
The EFCC suspects the scam of incinerating newspaper instead of old notes has been going on for years and has been on such a scale it has put inflationary pressure on the economy.
Many analysts say the EFCC has been extremely weak when it comes to fighting corruption as low-ranking officials tend to be investigated rather than so-called big fish who appear untouchable, our correspondent says.
The suspects are to make their first appearances at the federal court in the city of Ibadan on Tuesday.
